Introducing a limited number of sliding scale options

We currently accept the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO

  • Cigna

  • Oscar Health

  • Oxford

  • United Healthcare

Insurance plans vary widely, so it is vital that you review your coverage before your initial appointment. We at Nave Wellness Center want to empower you to understand what your insurance plan includes or excludes, as a thorough grasp of your benefits can help to prevent unexpected financial challenges. We strongly recommend that all our clients take the time to research their eligibility and coverage limitations with their insurance provider. Upon request, we can supply the necessary documentation for seeking reimbursement from your insurer. If, for any reason, you choose not to utilize insurance, we can offer some discounts for self-pay options. Some out-of-network plans may have similar benefits, can arrange single-case agreements for a particular therapist, or may offer direct client reimbursement for a portion of therapy expenses.

Some questions you can ask your insurance provider:

  • What is my coverage for seeing an in-network or out-of-network provider?

  • What percentage of the provider's fee does my plan cover, and what portion is my responsibility?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet before insurance coverage begins?

  • Are there co-payment or co-insurance amounts that I will need to pay at each session?

  • What is my maximum out-of-pocket expense?

  • Do I need an authorization or a pre-certification number before I can schedule an appointment with my therapist?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions allowed for me or those covered by my plan?

  • Does my plan cover individual, couples/marital and/or family counseling sessions?
